Is There Anybody Out There? explores what it means to be truly alone in the universe - and if we are alone in the universe, what happened to everybody else?
Performer Luke McDonnell brings audience members on stage to build a rocket ship from his cardboard recycling to take them to space.
As we search for a new planet we have to ask, "What happened to everyone else, and are we headed in the same direction?"
Is there anybody out there? was commissioned by the Liam Byrne Award and presented as part of Arrival Festival 2021 at Salford University.
